O and I love taking the mental out of environmental – natural, sustainable solutions, eco friendly vibes and creating a better place in the world are my jam.
I’m Fiona Bengtsson, a writer, business owner and environmental scientist based on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, Australia. I’ve been writing content and copy professionally for over 20 years for small businesses, corporate behemoths, NGOs and space aliens (I swear). I believe that at the heart of things everyone wants to be heard.

My secret
Copywriter, content writer and environmental writer?
Wait you say. Writer and enviro? Yes, actually. I can speak English, Eco warrior, Geek, Tech head and Engineer (and have a few letters after my name to prove it). I can tell you about soil, plants, animals, water quality, chemicals, environmental design and sustainability (but only if you ask). And I’m a blunt perfectionist who likes to know the whys. This means I have lots of street cred when it comes to research, putting together information that’s easy to understand, and injecting an earth friendly, ‘eco’ flavour into your business. Because I want to make a difference too.
But let me tell you a secret.
This is not all about me.
Studio Deepwater is about me and you, developing our new business relationship to make your business stand out. Humming copy naturally evolves from an in-depth understanding of your business, your clients, what you have that’s special. OK so I wear lots of hats, sometimes more than one at a time, which brings a vibrant energy and unique perspective to my writing. (Some say it also makes me the mad hatter which I’m ok with.)
These hats include the storyteller, sailor, conservationist, yoga practitioner, recycling obsessive, renovator and chocolate lover (with nuts of course). I am also owned by both a lunatic dog and a boat.
